一个已经停产多年的老的古巴雪茄品牌重生了，醇香雪茄公司（Pure Aroma Cigars）复刻了英国贵族这个老品牌，计划4月中旬向零售商发货。

20世纪初，在古巴生产雪茄的古斯塔沃·博克（ Gustavo Bock）将英国贵族这个品牌引入美国市场，后来在美国烟草公司收购了亨利克莱&博克公司（Henry Clay & Bock Co.）之后，和之前很多陆续倒闭的古巴雪茄品牌一样，英国贵族这个品牌最终消失了。

复刻的英国贵族有两个茄衣的版本，一个是厄瓜多尔康涅狄格烟叶，一个是墨西哥圣安德烈斯烟叶。两款雪茄的茄套、茄芯都是尼加拉瓜烟叶。各有三个尺寸，罗布图，50环径，5英寸。公牛，50环径，6英寸。丘吉尔，50环径，7英寸。每盒25支包装，在美国的售价从每支7美元到8美元不等。雪茄是在尼加拉瓜的埃斯特利地区的皮尔多莫雪茄厂（Tabacalera Perdomo）卷制的。

每支雪茄都佩戴了两枚烟标，一枚是原烟标的复刻品，一枚是新设计的副标。

醇香雪茄公司的总裁伊萨亚斯·桑塔娜·迪亚兹（Isaias Santana Diaz）说，英国贵族品牌引入美国已经114年了，我想重温家乡古巴的一些历史，把英国贵族做成曾经的高端品牌。

An old, discontinued Cuban brand is getting new life as a Nicaraguan cigar. Pure Aroma Cigars Inc., known for its D’Crossier line of smokes, has resurrected Lords of England, and will be shipping the new version to retailers in mid April.

The cigar comes in two wrapper varieties: Ecuador Connecticut and a maduro Mexican San Andrés. Both are blended with Nicaraguan binders and fillers. It’s offered in three sizes, Robusto, at 5 inches by 50 ring gauge; Toro, measuring 6 by 50; and Churchill, 7 by 50. Packed in boxes of 25, they are set to retail from $7 to $8 and made at Tabacalera Perdomo in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Each cigar is adorned with two bands—a reproduction of the original band and a newer secondary band.

Lords of England was introduced to the American market in the early 1900s by Gustavo Bock, who produced the cigar in Cuba. The brand eventually became part of the American Tobacco Co. after the U.S. tobacco giant purchased Henry Clay & Bock Co. Like so many defunct Cuban brands before it, Lords of England eventually disappeared.

“It is around 114 years since the Lords of England was introduced in this country,” said Isaias Santana Diaz, president of Pure Aroma. “I’d like to recapture some of the history of my native island and make Lords of England the premium brand it once was.”
