当然，鳄鱼岛雪茄里没有古巴烟叶，茄衣是厄瓜多尔烟叶，两片茄套烟叶，分别是厄瓜多尔哈瓦那2000烟叶，巴西的阿拉皮拉卡烟叶，茄芯是尼加拉瓜烟叶。

翘曲雪茄的老板凯尔·盖利斯介绍说，茄衣烟叶是厄瓜多尔种植的哈瓦那烟叶品种，种植时将烟草植株的花朵掐掉，也称为 deslforado（摘花法），这样可以让营养重新分配到叶片，培育出口味强劲的烟草。很多烟叶田都采用这样的方法来获得口味浓郁的烟草。

这个系列雪茄是在多米尼加共和国岛屿雪茄厂卷制的，有两个尺寸。大皇冠，46环径，5.625英寸，每支13美元。公牛，52环径，6英寸，每支14美元。每款都是每盒15支装。

Did you ever notice how the island of Cuba sort of resembles a crocodile? That’s how it got the nickname isla del cocodrilo, and this inspired Warped to play on the theme with a new cigar that just went out to cigar shops.

Isla del Cocodrilo, which translates to “island of the crocodile,” doesn’t have any Cuban tobacco in it, of course, but instead is composed of Ecuadoran wrapper, two binders (one Ecuador Habano 2000, the other Brazilian Arapiraca) and Nicaraguan filler. Warped owner Kyle Gellis says that the Ecuador Habano wrapper was culled in the deslforado method, something that’s done in many tobacco operations, where the flower of the tobacco plant was removed in the field. Also called “topping,” this is done so that the plant redirects its energy back into the leaf as opposed to creating a new flower, resulting in stronger tobacco.

Isla del Cocodrilo is made in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera La Isla factory. It comes in two sizes: Corona Gorda at 5 5/8 inches by 46 ring gauge, and a 6-by-52 Toro. They retail for $13 and $14, respectively, and are packaged in boxes of 15.
