宠物是家庭的成员，有时候主人付不起兽医费用，特别是那些没有主人的流浪宠物。考德威尔雪茄公司希望为此出一份力，他们发布了失物招领（Lost & Found）系列的新产品，雪茄收入的一部分将捐赠给一家总部设在迈阿密的慈善机构，这家慈善机构为流浪宠物和动物提供免费的兽医护理。这款雪茄预计6月16日发货。

这款新品的茄芯是尼加拉瓜、多米尼加烟叶，茄衣是哈瓦那种子烟叶，茄套是苏门答腊种子烟叶，但公司创始人罗伯特·考德威尔没有透露茄套、茄衣烟叶的种植地。他也没有透露这款产品的代工厂是哪一家。

雪茄只有一个尺寸，罗布图型号，50环径，5英寸，每支售价12美元，一包是10支，合计120美元。一共生产了500包。

考德威尔说，这些雪茄的部分销售收入将每月出资用于支持那些有活动志愿者领导的诊所，他们能服务几个家庭，两个，四个，或者更多。

考德威尔雪茄公司去年被专门生产优质烟斗、斗草的劳迪西公司收购。

Pets are like members of the family, but sometimes animal owners can’t afford veterinary care, especially when they’re homeless. Caldwell Cigars wanted to address this problem, so it’s releasing a new cigar called Lost & Found Give A F*CK. Part of the cigars’ proceeds will be donated to Project Unleashed, a Miami-based charity organization that provides free veterinary care to animals whose owners simply don’t have the resources. The cigars are expected to start shipping June 16.

“Too many people put off getting help [for themselves] because they don't want to leave their pets behind,” says co-founder and current vice president Robert Caldwell. “That's why, for this year's Give A F*CK cigar, we've partnered with Project Unleashed.”

The blend for Give A F*CK consists of Nicaraguan and Dominican filler. The wrapper and binder are Habano and Sumatra, respectively, but Caldwell is not disclosing the origins of either. Nor is he disclosing the location of the factory. 

It’s offered in one size—a robusto measuring 5 inches by 50 ring gauge—and comes in paper-wrapped packs of 10 retailing for $120, or $12 per cigar. A total of 500 bundles have been produced.

“Every pack of these cigars helps fund monthly, volunteer-led clinics, keeping more families—both—two and four-legged—together when they need it most,” Caldwell says.

Caldwell Cigar Co. was acquired last year by Laudisi Enterprises, a company that specializes in premium pipes and tobacco.
