2022年1月，烟草行业老兵埃拉迪奥·迪亚兹（Eladio Diaz）在多米尼加共和国开设了自己的雪茄厂，起初他一直在为其他公司代工雪茄，如今，他推出了自有品牌雪茄，并将参照即将在德国多特蒙特举办的InterTabac贸易展。

雪茄是在迪亚兹位于多米尼加的迪亚兹卡布雷拉雪茄厂（Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera factory）生产的，这款雪茄名为埃拉迪奥·迪亚兹70周年（Eladio Diaz 70 Aniversario），是为了庆祝他自己70周岁的寿辰而作，雪茄将主要销往欧洲市场。这款雪茄52环径，7英寸，每盒14支装，预计发售1400盒。

雪茄的茄衣是厄瓜多尔烟叶，茄套是墨西哥烟叶，茄芯包含了五种不同的多米尼加烟叶。至于确切的烟叶品种，迪亚兹声称保密，但是他透露这款雪茄是中等到浓郁程度强度。雪茄的零售价没有公布。

迪亚兹在烟草行业工作超过了60年，很小的时候他就进入了亨德里克·凯尔纳的雪茄厂做事，为大卫杜夫公司生产雪茄，2021年8月，迪亚兹从大卫杜夫公司辞职，第二年1月，他开办了自己的小雪茄厂。

Since tobacco veteran (and Davidoff alum) Eladio Diaz opened his Dominican factory in early 2022, he’s been producing cigars under contract for other companies. Now, he’s working on a cigar of his own and its being unveiled at the upcoming InterTabac trade show in Dortmund, Germany. 

Called the Eladio Diaz 70 Aniversario, the new cigar celebrates Diaz’s 70th birthday and is made at his Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera factory. The cigar is intended for the European market and consists of an Ecuadoran wrapper, Mexican binder and five different types of Dominican tobacco in the filler. It measures 7 inches long by 52 ring gauge and comes in 14-count boxes. Only 1,400 boxes are being produced. 

As for exact tobacco varietals, Diaz is keeping that a secret, but allows that the cigar is blended to be medium-to-full bodied in strength. The price isn’t being revealed yet either, although it will be when the cigar goes on display at InterTabac in September.
