他抽的第一支雪茄差点让他的职业生涯蒙上阴影。"那是一支在加油站买的雪茄，就像大麻烟一样，我连着3个小时说不出话。"不过搞笑的肯尼很快就缓过来了，如今他哪怕在闲聊时也能展示一下他的天赋。

他最喜欢的雪茄是帕德龙1964周年系列独家雪茄，这种雪茄没有玻璃纸包装。有一次全家旅行，因为带了许多不同的雪茄，他儿子觉得把一整盒公牛雪茄全部拆开包装是个不错的主意，可以让老爸随时享用。幸运的是，这个错误在雪茄干透前得到了纠正。

You may not know his face, but you almost certainly have heard his voice. Larry Kenney is a spot-on mimic and comedian who has performed thousands of television and radio voice-overs in his career spanning seven decades. Familiar with Sonny the Cuckoo confessing he’s “cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs”? Or Count Chocula proclaiming “I vant to eat your cereal!”? That’s Kenney. Ever listen to radio’s “Imus in the Morning” and think you were hearing Richard Nixon or Andy Rooney? Again, Kenney.

His first cigar as a high schooler almost put a crimp in his career. “It was a gas-station cigar, like a blunt. I couldn’t talk for about three hours.” The jocular Kenney recovered and taps his talent even in casual conversation. His favorite cigar is the Padrón Anniversary Exclusivo, a cigar that comes without cellophane. On a family trip, with different cigars, his son decided that it would be a favor to his dad to unwrap a full box of toros to have at the ready. Fortunately, the mistake was corrected before they dried out.
