奥利瓦雪茄公司（Oliva cigar Co.）国际销售总监布莱恩·沙普里奥（Brian Shaprio）表示，这款限量版将在美国之外的市场销售。
雪茄48环径，6.75英寸，在欧洲的售价为每支18欧元到22欧元不等，根据国家而定，雪茄是每盒10支装，限量发售2500盒。
V系列米拉尼奥是奥利奥雪茄的皇冠级别产品，在尼加拉瓜的Tabolisa雪茄厂生产。2014年，V系列米拉尼奥被评为年度最佳雪茄。
奥利瓦雪茄公司目前归比利时烟草公司J.Cortez Cigars N.V.所有，该公司在2016年收购了奥利瓦。
A new version of the Oliva Serie V Melanio is coming out later this week, but it’s only for international markets, and shouldn’t last for very long in the retail chain.
The Oliva Serie V Melanio Diadema Edición Limitada 2019 will be unveiled at the Intertabac fair in Dortmund, Germany, that takes place September 20 to 22. The trade show has evolved into the biggest cigar industry show outside the United States, one where Cuban and non-Cuban cigars vie for the attention of international retailers and distributors, most of them from Europe.
The new cigar is the third Melanio limited edition, made with the same blend as before (Nicaraguan filler and binder, Ecuador Sumatra wrapper) but a new shape. Unlike standard Melanios, which are box pressed, these were rolled in the round with a tapered foot. The head is round as well.
The cigar will be sold “everywhere except the U.S.,” said Brian Shaprio, director of international sales for Oliva Cigar Co. Measuring 6 3/4 inches by 48 ring gauge, they will sell for roughly 18 to 22 euros ($20 to $24) per cigar, depending on the market. The cigars come in boxes of 10, with production limited to approximately 2,500 boxes, or 25,000 cigars.
The Oliva Serie V Melanio is the crown jewel of Oliva Cigars and made in Nicaragua at the Tabolisa factory. The Melanio Figurado was named Cigar Aficionado’s 2014 Cigar of the Year, with a rating of 96 points.
Oliva Cigar Co. is owned by J. Cortez Cigars N.V., a Belgian tobacco company that acquired Oliva in 2016.
